Missing People is a UK charity that provides a lifeline when someone disappears. We offer dedicated support to missing people and their families through our 24/7 helpline. We listen in confidence, support people who are missing and their families; and, where possible, we help families and their missing loved ones to reconnect. We provide our services through working in partnership with the police, social services, other charities and professionals. We also undertake research and policy work to understand the experiences of missing people and their families and press for improvements in the support and services available to them.

Performance News: Open Improv Night
After a tremendous first couple of performances in October, TBC Improv Players Will Naameh and Paul Connolly, will be presenting more Open Improv Night shows, giving everyone even more opportunities for anyone and everyone to see and try-out new improv ideas.
Some more information about the show from Will and Paul:
The Scottish improv scene is rapidly expanding. With this new show, improvisers new and seasoned can try new and different things: try a new improv format; perform with different people; even improvise for the first time.
The first half will be comprised of 5, 10 and 15 minute slots; anyone can sign up for a slot to perform anything with anyone. The second half will be an improv jam, where we will draw names out of a hat and throw performers together in random scenes, formats and games; anyone can sign up on the night.
This is a safe, supportive and experimental night to help the Scottish improv scene grow!

Performance News: Tray Full of Brownies
After two well-received performances as part of the Open Improv Night, the fast-paced action of Tray Full of Brownies returns to The TBC Improv Theatre, this time in their own show. Improvisers Paul Connolly, Mara Joy, Stephen Gabauer, Eric Geistfeld and Will Naameh take a one-word suggestion from the audience and construct an elaborate series of scenes from it. The twist? Each scene lasts no more than 10 seconds! As the boys put it:
The improv show where each scene lasts no more than 10 seconds. "It couldn't be done!" they cried out… or maybe that was "shouldn't"?… Yeah, actually, it might have been "shouldn't"…

Look-Back At 2015
While it can sometimes be hyperbole to say a year or period of activity is the most busy, the greatest or most memorable, there have definitely been many stand-out moments from 2015 for To Be Continued…. Here are just a few of the many memorable moments of 2015 that we've chosen:
- The creation of The TBC Improv Theatre and all the wonderful shows performed there
- The running of the first The Scottish Improv Jam and raising £250 for Missing People
- Absolute Improv! becoming a 3-time Official Edinburgh Fringe Festival Sell-out
- The fantastic response to Improv Games during the year and at the PBH Free Fringe
- Saying a sad farewell to Sam but a warm welcome to Steph and Gregor
- Having a (small) part in the creation of two new improv groups: Smoky Monkeys and Improv Killed My Dog
All the members of The TBC Improv Players have worked extremely hard (while having fun along the way of course) to make this year a successful one for To Be Continued…, and for that we want to say thank you and share our deep appreciation for it. We also want to take this opportunity to thank all the fans who have come to the shows and workshops, our many friends in the Scottish/British/World improv scene and our friend's outside of the improv scene (they do exist!).
Most of all, we want to say thank you to all our families for their wonderful love and unfailing support. The performing arts can be a difficult industry to navigate at times, but you have always helped us to keep going. Thank you and we love you.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
Finally, from all of us here at To Be Continued…, we wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year. Have fun and we'll see you all again in 2016!
