TBC Improv Workshops - Long-Form Improv Bootcamp (with Lindsay Gonzales)

Edinburgh Palette - The Photography Studio | Saturday 14 September 2019 | 11:00am-4:00pm

This Advanced Improv Masterclass incorporates exercises and scene work techniques from all over the world of Improv. You will learn new warm-ups, exercises and performance techniques that will revolutionize the way you play forever. We will revisit vital fundamentals and explore the values of Yes &, Game Play, Power Initiations, Incorporation of Short-Form Techniques into Long-Form Play and much, much more. The second half of the class will focus on editing techniques, long-form formats, elements of style and what makes the difference between an improv free-form montage and a crisp, polished, engaging piece of improvised theatre. You will be coached as an individual and as a player within the group through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback designed to help unlock your hidden potential and highlight your strengths. It's time to get out of your own head and into the spotlight and be the powerful performer you always wanted to be.

  • Advanced Workshops - participants should have 24 weeks of formal improv training/experience (if unsure, do get in touch before booking)
